In the position of head nurse of the operating theater you are responsible for a multidisciplinary team, consisting of 3 clusters with about 45 FTE employees.
You manage your team of employees in the OR, striving to motivate, support and guide them.
You are responsible for the organization of the department. You are responsible for the day-to-day operation, follow-up and expansion of the department.
You optimize OR processes and initiatives to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Through an efficient organization you will seek an ideal balance in the deployment of all personnel, material and financial resources.
From a consultation structure you optimize the work processes according to general internal functioning, patients and doctors.
You are an important link in the communication between doctors, employees, management and other healthcare professionals.
You strive for a dual collaboration within the operation of the operating theater and in cooperation with the daily management of the operating theater.
You consult with the cluster managers on a daily basis and report operationally to the care coordinator.
Knowledge:
You have a Bachelor in Nursing, supplemented by a Master in Nursing / Management and Health Care Policy / executive training.
You have a solid knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

You have problem-preventing and problem-solving qualities, partly due to your clinical background.
We foresee a long-term induction process, in which you can run double with the current head nurse until the end of 2021. In this way we ensure that you can get started with the necessary luggage.
You are at the head of our OR and therefore have a direct impact on the day-to-day operations.
We offer a full-time contract for an indefinite period. This position is paid according to the IFIC scales, category 18. Relevant seniority is also taken over.
You are entitled to the legal number of holidays, just like 4 spring days and 11 public holidays. You build up seniority leave.
